1. I’ve never really gone through the official dating process. I’ve had two serious boyfriends, the first of which I met at a summer camp and we started dating long distance. The second of which I was first friends with, which grew to hooking up, which grew to a relationship (don’t try that one at home, kids. It doesn’t normally work. Do as I say, not as I do).

So, with this new dude, it’s extremely fun to be going out on dates and doing everything pretty traditionally. It’s like we are following a dating handbook.

    1. First date is the interview. (Physically attractive? Not crazy, weird, awkward? Enough in common?)
    2. Second date is the get to know you. (Deeper interests, goals, plans, more personality)
    3. Third date is the make out date. (Come on. You know it is. Tonsil hockey to see if you’re sexually compatible)

Our first date was dinner and coffee. Our second date was wandering around a book store talking before grabbing lunch. And our third date is going to be watching a movie at his place. MAKE OUT.
